This is a call for nominations to the Weizmann Women & Science Award 2019. This is a biennial award established in 1994 to honor an outstanding woman scientist who has made significant contributions to the scientific community. The objective of the award, which includes a $25,000 to the recipient, is to promote women in science, and to provide a strong role model to motivate and encourage the next generation of young women scientists. The Award is awarded by the Weizmann Institute and the award ceremony takes place at the Weizmann Institute

The 2017 Women In Science Award was awarded to Professor Dr. Ursula Keller, Professor of Physics at ETH Zurich, and Prof. Naomi Halas, Professor in Electrical Engineering at Rice University, Houston. The 2019 prize will be in the field of Life Sciences

 A nomination letter that outlines the major scientific contributions and a short account on why the nominee is an exceptional role model for young women scientists-
